NEWBURGH – Newburgh School Superintendent Dr. Jackielyn Manning Campbell’s $30,000 pay raise was approved during Tuesday night’s marathon school board meeting.

That brings her salary up to $300,000 a year effective January 1, 2024. She will also receive cost-of-living increases or three percent, whichever is greater, plus an appropriate increase for facilitation of annual board of education goals.

The board of education also approved three-year contract extensions for two top administrators – Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Michael McLymore, and Assistant Superintendent for Exceptional Students Christopher Bayer.

The contracts for both men were to expire on June 30, 2024; however, the board voted to extend each to June 30, 2027.
