Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties to host Veterans Celebration Breakfast

CAMPBELL HALL- Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, a Level V Community Partner of We Honor Veterans, announces its upcoming Veterans Celebration Breakfast, an event designed to honor and thank Veterans.  The breakfast will take place at 9:00am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Otterkill Country Club, in Campbell Hall.  Veterans from the community are invited to attend this event.

As a Level V Community Partner of We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties is deeply committed to recognizing and addressing the needs of Veterans and their families.  Through respectful inquiry, compassionate listening, and grateful acknowledgment, the organization aims to accompany and guide Veterans through their life stories toward a more peaceful ending.

In addition to breakfast, attendees will be treated to Guest Speaker, Alan C. Mack, retired Chief Warrant
Officer Five with over 35 years of service in the US Army.  Mack’s book, “Razor 03:  A Night Stalker’s
Wars” offers an account of his experiences and will be gifted to all in attendance.  In addition, all attendees will receive a commemorative pin.  There will also be a video presentation of the Annual Paul
V. Rader, Vet-to-Vet Volunteer Award to Robert M. Burton, retired US Air Force MSGT, in recognition of
his dedication and support to fellow Veterans.

Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties invites Veterans to attend this event, pre-event registration is required.  By registering, Veterans can reserve their seat to event that fosters camaraderie, appreciation, and a sense of community.
