POUGHKEEPSIE – One day after a 24-year-old Poughkeepsie man was murdered at 25 South Grand Avenue in the city, police had a suspect in custody.
An autopsy on Monday determined Dontay Mckarl Brown was killed by a single stab wound to his head.
His alleged killer, Andrew Alex Fraser, 32, also of the City of Poughkeepsie, was arrested in Brooklyn with assistance from the NYPD.
He was brought back to Poughkeepsie to await arraignment on a charge of murder.
