NEW WINDSOR – All 26 stores where New Windsor Town Police underage decoys were sent to purchase alcohol passed the test by denying the sales.

The police enforcement detail sent decoys into the businesses licensed to sell alcoholic beverages on Thursday, May 11.

A similar detail last year resulted in four arrests.

“The sale of alcoholic beverages to a minor is one of the most serious violations of the Alcohol Beverage Control Law,” said Police Chief Dan Valeri. “We are very pleased to see 100 percent compliance this time around.”
