PEEKSKILL – A 38-year-old man is under arrest in connection with the murder of another man in the City of Peekskill.
Police have charged Reginald McClure with murder and criminal possession of a weapon for allegedly shooting and killing Ernest Wilson.
He was shot at around 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 in the area of Sherman Avenue and McKinley Steet in Peekskill and died in the hospital on Wednesday, May 24.
McClure was established early in the investigation as a potential suspect; he was located and arrested on Wednesday evening.
Police said the murder was not a random incident.
McClure was remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
