MONTGOMERY- The New York State Department of Transportation is advising Orange County motorists to expect one lane to close along Interstate 84 eastbound, between Exit 19 (State Route 17) in the Town of Wallkill and Exit 28 (State Route 208) in the Town of Montgomery, beginning Monday, April 24, through Friday, April 28, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., to accommodate drainage work, weather permitting.
Motorists should anticipate delays and plan accordingly.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
