VALLEY COTTAGE – Fire in a house at 6 Reina Court in Valley Cottage late Thursday afternoon damaged the second floor and roof.
The call came into the Valley Cottage Fire Company at about 4:30 p.m. with fire reported on the second floor and through the roof of the single-family high ranch structure.
The two-alarm fire was contained to the second-floor bedrooms and garage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Clarkstown fire inspectors and Clarkstown Police Department.
Assisting at the scene included fire departments from Central Nyack, Congers, West Nyack, Nyack, West Haverstraw, Nanuet, and New City, and Congers-Valley Cottage Ambulance Corps.
