GOSHEN- Legoland theme park in Goshen is scheduled to open for the 2023 season this Friday, March 31st.  When the park opens, it will officially be a Certified Autism Center.

This past weekend, Legoland celebrated this new designation with “Awesome is for Everyone” Day, where guests were able to preview the park’s latest enhancements for families with children of all abilities.

To be credentialed as a Certified Autism Center, The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards trained all resort staff in the best practices for serving guests with autism.

Also, new this year, every ride will have a posted sensory guide indicating whether there are bright lights, loud sounds, or any feature that guests might need to plan around.

Other new features of the park include a water playground, which is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend.  Guests will be able to cool off, build and race a Lego boat, splash on water slides, and be doused by a giant 318-gallon water bucket in this new attraction.
