MAMAKATING – A mother and son were airlifted to Westchester Medical Center Sunday afternoon after sustaining serious injuries in an ATV accident on Tempaloni Road. The Summitville Fire Department and Mamakating EMS squad responded to the reported rollover accident at approximately 12:45 p.m. on March 26, 2023.
Initial reports indicate that the mother and son were both ejected when the ATV they were riding on rolled over. Neither victim was wearing a helmet at the time of the wreck.
Mobile Medic EMS also assisted at the scene.
The New York State Police are investigating the accident.
