GREENVILLE – A domestic dispute at a residence in the Orange County town of Greenville has resulted in the arrest of Jeff Sniffen, 46, on two felony charges of criminal mischief.  He was also charged with misdemeanor assault for his actions on March 15th.

Troopers responded to a report of a domestic incident at 9:30 Wednesday night.  Upon arrival they learned that a physical altercation had taken place with Sniffen striking the victim with a closed fist, causing physical injury.  After the punch, he broke the victim’s cell phone, rendering it inoperable.

While speaking with the troopers, Sniffen threatened to destroy the victim’s vehicle and proceeded to grab a metal bat to carry out his threat.  He was immediately disarmed and subdued by troopers who placed him under arrest.
