LAKE KATRINE – The Town of Ulster Police Department has arrested a Kingston man on charges of burglary, grand larceny, and criminal mischief following an alleged burglary at the Skywalker Smoke Shop on Morton Boulevard in the town.
It is alleged that Scott Nussbaum, 52, forcibly entered the business minutes after 6 a.m. on March 6 and stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise.
Nussbaum was located at his home and taken into custody without incident.
Armed with a search warrant, police found some of the proceeds at a residence belonging to an acquaintance of Nussbaum.
He was arraigned and released to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office on unrelated charges.
Town police were assisted by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office and Kingston Police.
