ALBANY – Unemployment in the Hudson Valley/Catskills increased minimally in January compared to the same month in 2022, the State Labor Department announced.
Rockland County experienced the lowest rate of joblessness in the region in January at 3.2 percent. Delaware County had the highest rate at 5.1 percent.
The farther away from New York City, the higher the rate of unemployment in area counties.
