Lori Currier Woods

GOSHEN – Orange County Family Court Judge Lori Currier Woods is retiring.

A retirement party has been set for March 30 in her honor.  Judge Woods was elected in 2006 and has also served as acting Supreme Court justice since 2008.

Prior to becoming a family court judge, she worked as a private practice attorney in Los Angeles, California, and also served in the district attorney’s office in Los Angeles and Orange County, New York.

Woods has worked in private practice in New York and later served in private practice and later as an attorney for the Children’s Rights Society in Goshen.  She also served as both a councilwoman in the Town of Monroe and as an attorney/consultant/trainer for the Children’s Rights Society.
