Law enforcement is asking for the public's help identifying the two men pictured in connection with a robbery.

POUGHKEEPSIE – A letter carrier for the United States Postal Service was robbed by two black males in the City of Poughkeepsie on February 18, 2023.  The Poughkeepsie incident is one of several February robberies of postal carriers,  All calls are confidential. across the nation.

The United States Postal Inspection Service is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the two males responsible for robbing “box keys” from the letter carrier near the intersection of Garden and High Streets at approximately 11:18 a.m.

According to the police, the carrier was approached by two black males, ranging in height between 5’6″ and 5’10”, who demanded his box keys that provide access to all of the USPS drop boxes in the area.  The carrier, feeling threatened, complied with the demand.
