Some 2,500 lose power in Cornwall-New Windsor area

CORNWALL – A transformer problem led to a power outage affecting about 2,500 Central Hudson Gas and Electric customers on Saturday afternoon.

Those affected were in Cornwall and New Windsor following the problem in the area of Molly Pitcher Drive in New Windsor.

Power was lost after 3 p.m. and was expected to be restored around 9:30 p.m.
