Fire heavily damages Montgomery home

MONTGOMERY – Fire Saturday afternoon heavily damaged a home at 200 Hill Avenue in Montgomery.

The fire was reported minutes after 3 p.m. and brought out a number of area departments to assist Montgomery volunteer firefighters.

Heavy smoke and flames shot out of the side of the residence as firefighters arrived on the scene.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
