Police release limited info on Pine Bush stabbing

PINE BUSH – Crawford Town Police say the man stabbed at the Mobil gas station on Route 52 in Pine Bush Tuesday night sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to Garnet Health Medical Center in the Town of Wallkill by the Pine Bush Ambulance Corps.

Initial reports from the scene said the victim was stabbed three times.

Police Chief Dominick Blasko said the incident occurred during an “exchange” with the assailant, who left the area in a vehicle.

The victim was able to walk to a residence Borden Avenue.

Crawford Police are being assisted in their investigation by State  Police, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and FBI Safe Streets Task Force.
