NEW PALTZ – A New Paltz woman has applied to the state to operate an adult-use retail cannabis dispensary.
Lila Luckie’s LLC would be located in an existing building at 88 North Chestnut Street in the Village of New Paltz and would “build a brand on the core values of customer service and care, honesty and community outreach,” according to the attorneys for the business, Cuddy Feder LLP.
“Lila Luckie’s is driven by the deep belief that through education and sustainable partnerships and business practices, cannabis can create a more equitable and just world,” the law firm wrote.
While its application to the state is pending, the business is seeking a special use permit from the village to provide walk-in and order-ahead service to customers.
In support of the enterprise, the attorneys have submitted to the village a number of letters of support from other area businesses.
