KINGSTON – A Kingston man was arrested on Saturday, February 4 on 20 felony charges of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
Terry Webber, 61, was arrested following an investigation that began on November 11, 2022 when Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a 911 call for a disturbance at his home.
An investigation determined Webber had allegedly been communicating for several months with a social media account portraying to be a young girl and the communication was sexually in nature.
A search warrant was secured for the electronic devices in Webber’s home and located over 200 videos and photographs depicting explicit content involving children.
Webber was subsequently indicted on 20 counts of possession a sexual performance by a child was issued for his arrest.
He was taken into custody and remanded to the Ulster County Jail pending a future court appearance.
Detectives were assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office and US Marshals Service.
