KINGSTON – In what the Kingston Library is calling “the latest example of community endorsement of our long-range plan,” it announced a $2 million grant from the Novo Foundation.

The grant is given in support of the renovation of the library’s historic building and will pay for an entire year of preparatory work and professional services. This includes the work of their architects, financial services professionals, attorneys, and construction managers.

Tax money approved by voters will only be used once construction begins later this year. “We are very grateful to the Novo team for their ongoing dedication to the library’s mission to serve and enhance the Kingston community,” according to a statement from the facility.
