FLORIDA – Firefighters from a number of departments fought a four-alarm fire in the Village of Florida Friday night.
According to fire officials, the blaze broke out in a large barn, fully engulfing it, and extending to a smaller barn. Flames jumped to nearby brush, officials said.
Firefighters had to secure water sources to quell the flames at the 36 Millburn Road scene.
The strong winds and frigid temperatures made firefighting operations more challenging.
There were no reports of injuries and the cause is under investigation.
