HYDE PARK – The Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum will host an afternoon of Presidents’ Day Weekend events on Saturday, February 18th.

The events will include a book talk and signing followed by a viewing of original Presidential documents.

Alex Prud’homme

The first event begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Henry A. Wallace Center at the FDR Presidential Library and Home and will feature Alex Prud’homme, author of Dinner with the President: Food, Politics, and a History of Breaking Bread at the White House. The second event is from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Research Room of the FDR Presidential Library where visitors can view a selection of presidential autographs from the Roosevelt Library archives—many of which are from FDR’s personal collection—on display only once a year.

The book talk is free to the public, but registration via fdrlibrary.org is required for in-person attendance. Interested parties can also watch live on the official FDR Library YouTube, Twitter and Facebook accounts.

There is no registration required to view the documents.
