PEEKSKILL – The mother of Ricky Jacques “Nutter” Brickhouse, the 35-year-old man who was shot to death in the City of Peekskill in broad daylight on Sunday, January 29, said Tuesday she was “not prepared to bury” her son. “I am completely heartbroken and life as I know it will never be the same,” she wrote.
Yvonne Brickhouse Clark said her son “was the life of the party and was sure to put a smile on your face with his charismatic charm.”
Peekskill Police said after the murder that they had persons of interest in custody but have released no additional information.
The family is seeking donations to cover the funeral and burial expenses. Cash donations, cards and acknowledgements can be dropped off at Little Kings & Queens Learning Center, 50 Dayton Lane in Peekskill.
They have also established a GoFundMe account.
