SAUGERTIES – A Kingston man was injured when he lost control of a tractor-trailer while driving on Route 32 as he approached a curve in the area of Fawn Road in the Town of Saugerties and the vehicle struck a tree and overturned on its side in the middle of the road.
The accident occurred around 10:20 a.m. on Monday.
Saugerties Police said Christopher Cazares, 44, suffered head and neck injuries, was treated at the scene by paramedics from Diaz Ambulance and transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie for further care.
Saugerties Police were assisted at the scene by the Saxon-Ashbury Fire Department, State Police and Steyer’s Automotive.
