SPRING VALLEY – Village Police in Spring Valley are investigating a murder that occurred early Thursday.
Det. Matt Galli confirmed that a man was the victim of a fatal stab wound.
A large crime scene was cordoned off where the victim was located on Johnson Street adjacent to 55 North Myrtle Avenue.
Family members said the victim was a Hispanic man in his 50s.
Spring Valley Police were assisted at the scene by State Police and Rockland County Sheriff’s investigators.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone with information or who may have seen anything suspicious around that time to call Spring Valley Police at 845-356-7400.
