TOWN OF NEWBURGH – Resorts World Hudson Valley, the electronic gaming casino being developed at the Newburgh Mall in the Town of Newburgh, is expected to open in the next couple of weeks.
Company Vice President for Government Affairs and Marketing Megan Taylor said the facility is almost ready to open.
“We’re getting closer. We are going to be announcing some exciting news in about a week or so and we are really looking forward to hitting our target of opening before the end of the year,” she said. “Hopefully we will be able to have everybody be celebrating New Year’s right at Resorts World Hudson Valley. That would be really cool.”
The casino will be the anchor for a new, reimagined Newburgh Mall, which is expected to attract restaurants and stores that complement the casino, much like a destination resort.
Resorts World Hudson Valley is a sister facility to Resorts World Catskills near Monticello.
