BLAUVELT – Fire Friday evening sent bright orange flames into the evening skies in Blauvelt as a blaze raged at as residence at 7 Regina Court, first responders at the scene reported.
The fire in the two-story, single-family home brought out a number of Rockland County departments under mutual aid from Orangeburg, Sparkill, West Nyack, Central Nyack and Pearl River, Orangetown Police said.
According to firefighters at the scene, the blaze began in the rear of the house with extension.
The cause of the fire was not immediately know and is under investigation by the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigations and the Orangetown fire inspector.
Police said there were no reported injuries.
