MIDDLETOWN – Downtown Middletown continues to be spruced up, this time with new sidewalks and curbs.
Mayor Joseph DeStefano said the work is being funded through a number of sources.
“North Street we are doing sidewalks and curbing. Part of it is DRI money. Some of it is ARPA money – and three different pockets of money. There is other final infrastructure work done under the DRI,” he said.
Middletown received $10 million under the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative grant program, which is helping to pay for the downtown facelift.
