ALBANY – A 42-year-old Ellenville man was sentenced on Friday to eight years and eight months in federal prison for his leadership of a drug trafficking organization that distributed cocaine base and fentanyl in Ulster County.
Antonio Naveo also pled guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm.
As part of his previous guilty plea, he admitted that between September 2017 and December 2018, he led an organization that trafficked over 500 grams of cocaine base, as well as fentanyl, from New York City and Pennsylvania to Ellenville for redistribution at various locations in the Rondout Valley.
Naveo also admitted to unlawfully possessing a firearm as a previously convicted felon.
US District Judge Mae D’Agostino also ordered him to serve a four-year term of supervised release following his prison term.
Six other defendants previously pled guilty in connection with the conspiracy and we sentenced.
