DOVER – A 28-year-old Dover man has been arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and other crimes following a domestic dispute.
State Police responded to Oniontown Road in the Town of Dover at around 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16 and investigation determined that Joseph Hoffman had allegedly physically assaulted two victims while armed with a knife. An order of protection against Hoffman was in place at the time.
Hoffman was also charged with, aggravated criminal contempt, assault, menacing, criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, and unlawful imprisonment.
Hoffman was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
