POUGHKEEPSIE – A 25-year-old woman has been arrested by the Dutchess County Drug Task Force for selling crack cocaine and methamphetamines.  The arrest occurred on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Red Roof Inn on South Road (Route 9) in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Cali Hamilton was arrested after members of the task force executed a search warrant at a room at the hotel.  The task force seized a quantity of “candy-like” pills determined to be methamphetamines along with an undisclosed amount of crack cocaine.

Hamilton was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.  The accused drug dealer was ordered to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Justice Court for arraignment on November 16, 2022.

The Dutchess County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Bureau.  The Dutchess County Drug Task Force is comprised of officers from the Hyde Park PD, East Fishkill PD, City of Poughkeepsie PD, City of Beacon PD, and the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
