NEWBURGH – City police in Newburgh are investigating a stabbing that occurred shortly after noon on Sunday in the area of City Terrace. The victim was transported to Montefiore St. Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A City of Newburgh police officer was flagged down on October 16 at 12:39 p.m., in the vicinity of 31 City Terrace by a man who indicated that he had been stabbed.
The police are asking anyone with information regarding the stabbing to call the City of Newburgh Police Detective Division at 845-569-7509.
