KINGSTON – Congressman Pat Ryan (D, NY-19) is seeking House Appropriations Committee approval for a number of projects originally submitted by Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado when he held the congressional seat.

Among the funding sought are $2 million for the Town of Pawling to construct a septic tank effluent pump system, and $1.6 million to replace a water storage tank that serves more than two-thirds of the town of Rosendale water system’s existing demand.

He also requested $982,000 to upgrade water and sewer infrastructure in the Village of New Paltz, $1.8 million in the Town of Lloyd to realign the intersection of Tillson Avenue, Toc Drive and Vineyard Avenue on Route 44/55 to Route 9W, and $2 million for RUPCO to convert a 145-room hotel to 81 units of permanent supportive housing on Route 28 in the Town of Ulster.

Ryan is also seeking $2 million for the Refuah Health Center to be used for the construction of a state-of-the-art outpatient health care facility in South Fallsburg to help address the healthcare needs in Sullivan County.
