VILLAGE OF FISHKILL – A shooting at Antonella’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Fishkill on Sunday is still being investigated by the State Police.  The Sunday afternoon incident in the Fishkill ShopRite Plaza on Route 9 occurred around just after 2 p.m.

The shop owner issued a statement saying the family business “was subject to a random incident, where a single bullet struck our front window. Thankfully, no one was injured.”

Multiple police agencies responded to the incident and broadcast a description of the suspect and his vehicle after the shooter fled the scene.  (The original Mid-Hudson News account can be found here.)

After the broadcast went out asking police to search for a dark gray Honda Accord carrying the suspected shooter, state troopers radioed in that a vehicle matching the description was located in a driveway on Saratoga Lane in Fishkill at approximately 4:35 p.m.

Multiple tipsters told Mid-Hudson News that a large contingent of law enforcement was in the vicinity of the suspected address on Saratoga Lane just before 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Radio communications at 4:35 p.m. indicated that at least three State Police units were surrounding the house on Saratoga Lane, where the alleged vehicle was spotted in the driveway.  One trooper called dispatch to advise that the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation had been made aware of the discovery.

The State Police spokesperson told Mid-Hudson News on Sunday night that no additional information regarding the vehicle location was being released at the time.
