MAHOPAC – A 48-year-old College Point resident has been arrested by Carmel Town Police and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
The arrest stemmed from a mid-morning dispute on Thursday, September 15 in which Zongbo Xu allegedly pulled a handgun.
Xu was taken into custody without further incident or injuries to officers of the public and the gun was recovered at the scene.
Xu was arraigned and remanded to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
