NEW YORK – The COVID-19 pandemic requirement that masks be worn on Metro-North Railroad trains is no longer.

The MTA Wednesday said masks are encouraged, but no longer required onboard Metro-North trains.

Shortly after the pandemic hit New York, the mask mandate was implemented along with daily sanitizing of train cars.
