POUGHKEEPSIE – Caremount Medical with offices throughout the Hudson Valley has become part of Optum Care, according to Dr. Scott Hayworth, former CEO of Caremount and now president of Optum Tri-State.
In a statement on the Caremount website, Dr. Hayworth said, “Optum is a national health services innovation company, helping people live healthier lives and improving the delivery of care for everyone. Partnering with Optum allows us at CareMount to do even more to fulfill our mission to provide you with state-of-the-art care, close to home.”
The statement notes that patients will not see any changes as far as their insurance acceptance and ability to see their current care provider at Caremount.
