LUMBERLAND – Fire departments from Sullivan, Orange and Pike counties are battling a fire in a three-story apartment building at 608 High Road in Lumberland.
The fire broke out around 12:35 p.m. on Friday with reports from the scene calling it an active structure fire. It was declared under control about a half hour later.
Fire investigators were called to the scene.
In the meantime, at about 1 p.m., a second structure fire broke out, reported to be a few doors down from the first one, in Lumberland.
