ESOPUS – A 39-year-old Poughkeepsie man has been arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies on charges of driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Stephone McKinnon was stopped for a traffic infraction on Route 9W in the Town of Esopus at 1 a.m. on July 19.
The investigation determined he was driving in an intoxicated condition and was in possession of cocaine.
McKinnon was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
