ALBANY – You don’t hear about the number of new COVID-19 cases and deaths in the Hudson Valley on a daily basis; however, the virus is still present.
The State Health Department reported 1,082 new cases on Tuesday and four new deaths – one each in Dutchess and Orange counties and two in Westchester.
The health department continues to urge people to get vaccinated and boosted as the best way to avoid catching the virus.
