TOWN OF GREENBURGH – The Greenburgh Town Board has decided to require masks inside all town-owned buildings while Covid-19 cases continue to rise.

At the town board meeting on July 13 at 7:30 p.m. everyone who attends must wear a mask.

“We know that most people hate masks,” said Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. “Some employees and residents have compromised immune systems. If they get Covid-19, it could be very dangerous, possibly fatal. We want to keep everyone who works in a Greenburgh building and visitors to Town Hall safe.”

Feiner said when the numbers go down, they will go back to the policy of making masks optional.
