SPRING VALLEY – A 17-year-old teen was shot and killed early Friday morning in Spring Valley. The suspect, according to police, is still at large.
The shooting occurred outside of the Meadow Lane Apartment Complex at 150 West Eckerson Road. When police arrived at approximately 2:30 a.m. on July 8th they located the teenager suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers stabilized him until he was transported by EMS to Good Samaritan Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Spring Valley Police Department was assisted by officers from the Ramapo Police Department, Rockland County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit, and the New York State Police.
