MONTICELLO – State Police in conjunction with the Sullivan County Child Abuse Unit have arrested a 47-year-old Town of Fallsburg man on charges of sexually abusing a child.
Following a joint investigation with Sullivan County Child Protective Services, Edward Hotalen was charged with rape, criminal sex act, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 secure bond or $20,0000 partially secure bond.
