MONTGOMERY – The Orange County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Academy graduated K-9 Patrol School Class #30 on Friday. Ten K-9 handlers and their new K-9 partners from four counties successfully completed their long journey to get to this point as patrol certified.
“We choose Officers and K-9s that show good character, high drive, loyalty, discipline, honorable, and trainable and then give them the skills to do the job they have chosen to do,” said Assistant Undersheriff Anthony Weed.
Family, friends, and co-workers turned out to watch the graduation and what the K-9 teams have learned during their training.
The K-9 Patrol School Class #30 includes:
