Primary voters in Dutchess have several choices on Tuesday

POUGHKEEPSIE – Registered members of the Democrat, Republican, and Conservative parties have several choices to make on Primary Day, Tuesday, June 28.  Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.  Some polling places have been relocated.  To find a Dutchess County polling site, click here.

Democrats have three gubernatorial candidates and three lieutenant governor choices on the ballot.  Governor Kathy Hochul is running against  Rep. Tom Suozzi and Jumaane Williams.  Voters can select one.  For lieutenant governor, voters can select one of the following:  Anna Maria Archula, Diane Rennya, or Antonio Delgado.

Republicans are being asked to select one of the following to run for governor in November:  Rob Astorino, Andrew Guiliani, Harry Wilson, or Lee Zeldin.

Democrats in Red Hook and Rhinebeck are voting to select the Democrat to run for the 106th Assembly District in November.  Assemblyman Kevin Cahill is being challenged by Sarahana Shresta.  The winner will be the Democratic candidate on the November ballot.

Two Republicans, Brian Gaylord and Dean Michael are squaring off to become the GOP candidate for the 106th Assembly District in November.  Republicans in Clinton, Hyde Park, Milan, North East, Pine Plains, Pleasant Valley, Town of Poughkeepsie, Stanford, and Washington are being asked to choose one of the two men.

In LaGrange, Republican and Conservative party members can vote for one town justice candidate.  Carl Chu and Susan Sullivan-Bisceglia are the choices.

Democrats in District 1 of the First Ward can choose two members for the Dutchess County Democratic Committee.  Lisa Nelson, Ken Stier, and Laura Forman are all vying for a seat on the committee.
