CHATHAM – State Police from the Livingston barracks along with the State Police Forensic Investigation Center have arrested a 32-year-old Albany man for making a terroristic threat and falsely reporting an incident, both as felonies.
On August 9, 2021, Columbia County 911 dispatched troopers to the Chatham Public Library on Woodbridge Avenue in the Village of Chatham for a bomb threat received at the facility.
Police evacuated the building, the nearby Chatham Middle School, and school bus garage.
After a 10-month investigation, police arrested Siddharth Dubey on the charges that he allegedly made the threats.
He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
