New Paltz man arrested with two sets of metal knuckles

TOWN OF ULSTER – A traffic stop on Washington Avenue in the Town of Ulster resulted in a New Paltz man being arrested for possession of two sets of metal knuckles and cocaine.

Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies charged Randy Cook, 38, following the 11:15 a.m. stop on Monday, June 20 with two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon and a misdemeanor for possession of a controlled substance.

Cook was remanded to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
