ALBANY – Just weeks before the primary election in the race for the state’s top job, Governor Kathy Hochul Friday announced her administration has reached a tentative contract agreement with the 52,000-member Civil Service Employees Association.

Rank-and-file must now approve the five-year proposal.

The governor called the agreement “a win-win for CSEA members and the State of New York.”

Union President Mary Sullivan said the pact “recognizes the dedicated CSEA members who kept this state running during the entire COVID pandemic and continue to do so every day.”
