Student caught after riding motorcycle through school halls

SPRING VALLEY – Ramapo Police have arrested a student enrolled in the Ramapo Senior High School after the student operated a motorcycle in the halls of the school on Tuesday, May 24.

According to police, a student at the school operated an off-road motorcycle through the halls of the school while class was in session.

The incident was promptly broadcast over the police radio by the Ramapo Police School Resource Officer  assigned to the high school.

Police apprehended the student on Camp Hill Road.

The young man was arrested on a charge of reckless endangerment and numerous vehicle and traffic offenses. He was processed at the police station for what police describe as a “dangerous and inappropriate stunt.”
