NYPD duty weapon used in murder-suicide

TOWN OF WALLKILL – The weapon used in the May 8th shooting that claimed the lives of two men in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot was the Glock 9mm pistol issued by the NYPD to Sean Armstead, the suspected shooter.

Armstead is believed to have used his service weapon to kill Edward Wilkins before turning the weapon on himself.

Wallkill Police Chief Robert Hertman said, “The ongoing investigation into this incident is being conducted by the New York State  Attorney General’s Office and the Town of Wallkill Police Department.”
